Liturgy Module

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the Liturgy module is to reiterate the importance of memorizing prayers as learned in Kindergarten. In addition, be able to identify the roles of the clergy and people in the Liturgical prayers. Be able to identify the different components of the liturgy which include sight, smell, and hearing (how all of these tie in together). Specifically, how all of these sensations ultimately lead to our understanding of the liturgy.

Children should understand that rites we have in church come from the Bible.

Teaching children to strengthen their relationship with God through the liturgy.

Children should understand how to apply what they do in the liturgy into their lives.

Children should have a clear understanding of what is used for the liturgy and the meaning of them.
