OBJECTIVE

The theme for the Old Testament module in 1st grade is learning about the Fathers of our church. The Fathers taught us what it means to obey and ultimately have faith in God.

INSTRUCTIONS/IDEAS

• The servant should provide the kids with pieces of paper and something to write with. With what they learned over the past month they should create a family tree with the fathers they learned about.
• Have the kids draw a tree in the background to decorate the paper with the family tree.
• Make sure the order of the family tree is correct.
• This can also be done as a group on a large piece of poster paper/board, or virtually with the servant making a tree on powerpoint and asking students what to fill in.
