Liturgy Module

OBJECTIVE

The objective for this grade is to learn about the sacraments and how they impact our life as Christians in this world. We are seeking to teach children how the liturgy and the sacraments should be implemented in their lives so they understand why we carry out this ritual on a regular basis.

MILESTONES

Scripture

Children should be able to identify when a Sacrament is taking place in the Bible

Spiritual

Teaching children how their relationship with God is strengthened because of the Sacraments

Social

Children should understand the value of each sacrament and incorporate these values in everyday life.

Rituals

Children should have a clear understanding of how each Sacrament contributes to the Liturgy (e.g. Priest leads Holy Communion, we are given opportunities to Repent during the liturgy... )
