Faith Module

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this module is to help the students gain a deeper understanding of the Faith and expand their knowledge on practices of the church. In this lesson, we will discuss the importance of the church and our roles in it as Christians.

MILESTONES

Scripture:

The students will learn and affirm where in scripture we derive our faith. Furthermore, students will be able to use scripture to derive the practice of our traditions.

Spiritual:

The students will begin to understand how we attain salvation, as well as the deeper aspects of how to get closer to Christ and the church. Questions are encouraged

Social:

The children will begin to understand how the church has its rules and statutes, and they should incorporate that knowledge in everyday life, to become closer with God. Participating in fasts together, encouraging their peers to confess regularly, and checking up on their friends if they were not at church one week are all examples of this.

Rituals:

The children should begin to practice the Holy Mysteries, and participate in the rituals of the church. Explain the importance of such rituals as you see them in the lessons.
