History Module

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the church history module for Grade 4 is to understand the beginning of Christian literature and the establishment of our theology. Those who defended our faith are our role models when we are in a tough situation or are pressured by others. We should stand firm in our beliefs and always seek out the truth.

MILESTONES

  • Scripture: The concept of witnessing Christ should be emphasized, even to death. Even at a young age, our faith should be strong.
  • Spiritual: The love the early Christians had for Our Lord Jesus Christ was seen by all.
  • Social: The students should behave similarly to a follower of Christ; unashamed to be Christian in contemporary society. We should have discipline as the monks did, and spend personal time with God.
  • Rituals: The children should understand why the church places so much emphasis on those who were there since the foundation of the church, and why we venerate the martyrs gloriously. The fundamentals of our faith have been the same from the beginning and are still emphasized in our Church today.
