Morality Module

OBJECTIVE

Through this module, we teach our children to holy "Be holy, for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16. Children will be able to love being holy and practice their sense of listening to discern the voice of our Shepherd, The Lord, Jesus Christ.

MILESTONES

Scripture:

Children should know the following memory verses below by end of this module.

  • "Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart." Psalm 119:34
  • "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." 1 Peter 4:10
  • "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10

Spiritual:

Children will acknowledge the works of the Holy Spirit in them, humble themselves, and obey God's commandments including obeying their parents and being grateful that our Lord, Jesus Christ put people in their lives to guide them. They will be able gain the attitude of thankfulness and count their blessings.

Social:

Children will be able to gain a sense of responsibility toward school, church, and society.

Rituals:

Children will understand that we are all united but devise in the body of Jesus Christ. Acknowledge our Lord, Jesus Christ's goodness and grace when we start every liturgy and the seven prayers of the Agpia with the "Thanksgiving Prayer". We also give thanks to our Lord in absolutions of the hours.
