Old Testament Module

OBJECTIVE

In this unit, we will look at the establishment of Kings for God's people, Israel. We will also take a more in depth look on how we learn about our Lord God through His interactions with the characters of the Bible.

MILESTONES

• Scripture: Children will know that the book of Psalms was written by David the Prophet, the Book of Proverbs was written by Solomon, and that the events of Samuel through Solomon are recorded in the books of Samuel and Kings.
• Spiritual: Children will understand sincerity of heart, faithfulness, faith in the Lord, and godly wisdom
• Social: Children will learn that what's in the heart translates to how we treat others. When we ask the Lord God to guide our hearts and our lives, we will see the Lord work in our life.
• Rituals: Children will have an understanding of anointing of oil for consecration.
