MILESTONES

Scripture:

Our goal here is to focus on having the children memorize Romans 12:2 - "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." Though this is not the verse in its entirety, it is important that we focus on the topics of conformity and transformation as these can be difficult, but extremely relevant, for tweens to discuss.

Spiritual:

By the end of the series, children will understand what it means to "conform to this world," and discuss examples of ways to "renew their mind."

Social:

Children will recognize the importance of their thoughts and learn about "standing out" when their peers are conforming.

Ritual:

Children will be able to note how they're spending their time: church, prayer, reading the Bible, confession and repentance.
