OBJECTIVE

The objective for this grade is to create original icon using dotting technique, mosaic, OR oil pastels

INSTRUCTIONS/IDEAS

Do a project using a mold and wax, or clay to make crosses. Use this activity to discuss how God is trying to make us or mold us to be like his image. Review the process of Him making us, i.e. more heat will refine the shape better.

• Suggested Materials:
  • Clay or wax+mold
  • Beads & Paint for decoration
  • Wooden skewers/sticks to carve details
