OBJECTIVE

The objective of this module is to introduce the Old Testament to the kindergarteners. You will cover the first eleven chapters of Genesis. The kindergarteners will learn the stories of Creation, Adam and Eve, Noah and the Ark, and the Tower of Babel.

INSTRUCTIONS/IDEAS

Materials: 3x5 flashcards, hole punch, ribbon, coloring materials

• The servant may provide the kids with flashcards and color pencils. With each card they should draw one day of creation.
• As they continue to have all the days of creation, you may hole punch the corner of the card, put a ribbon through them, and create a booklet out of the cards.
• Make sure they put each card in the correct order so they can use it as a reminder if they forget.

Review the memory verse from the Creation story: "In the beginning, God made Heaven and earth." Genesis 1:1

Also review the differences between the Old and New Testaments. As the children are working on their flashcards, play the song of the Old Testament books in the background.
